I can't draw for toffee... instead I have a camera that I like to muck about with - especially when it comes to buildings and crowds of people. I like to take notice of thinsg that would normally pass people by so will happily walk around a place I know well and pretend to be a tourist!

So I'm taking my new(ish) camera to Canterbury with me again when I visit my sis next weekend. I like this camera - it's not big and shiny and all singing, all dancing but it's compact and doesn't blur everything as if I'm snapping in the middle of an earthquake. I have a few trips planned for it: Next weekend I'm going to act liek a tourist in Canters then next month I'm going to act like a tourist around some of my favourite parts of London... I'll just need to remember all my batteries and the battery charger.

There are quite a few intriguing things to see and shoot in London... did you notice, for example, the small sculptures at bases of external arches in Westminster Abbey (one of these in my devID)? All the creatures on the iron gate to The Globe? Steampunk contraptions in the old engine rooms of the Tower Bridge? Derelic remains and details under Thames' high tide line?
